Who runs this site
I'm Pradipta Ray, and I run pradiptaray.in. When this page says "I" or "me", it means me.
What I collect
- Newsletter: your name if you give it, your email address, and which signup box you used.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number if you give it, what you're interested in, and your message.
I don't ask for card numbers, bank details or ID documents. Please don't send them.
Why I collect it
- To send you The Money Memo, my weekly email, if you sign up.
- To reply when you send me a message.
Where it's stored
Form entries go to Netlify Forms. Netlify hosts this website and stores the entries for me under its own security and privacy terms.
Browser storage
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember if you closed the newsletter popup or already signed up. That way it doesn't keep asking. This stays on your device. It isn't sent to me.
Amazon links
Some links go to Amazon and pay me a small commission. If you click one, Amazon may set cookies on your device. Amazon's own privacy policy covers that.
Bank referral links
If you click a bank referral link, you go to the bank's own website. The bank's privacy policy applies there, not this one.
I don't sell your data
I don't sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.
Unsubscribing and deleting your data
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. To see, correct or delete what I hold about you, reply to any newsletter email or send me a direct message on X at @PradiptaMoney.
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
I try to handle your data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You give consent when you send a form. You can take that consent back at any time. You can also ask me to show, correct or erase your data using the routes above. I only keep it while I need it for the reasons on this page.

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
